The long storage period of milk in the freezer is safe and convenient. Remember that your child's needs change very quickly. The breastfeeding mother's organism adjusts its food composition to the child's development on an ongoing basis. In contrast, the milk you expressed away a month or a half a year ago may not meet the nutritional needs of an older child. Frozen milk can be thawed all night in the fridge, then warmed up gradually in the Bottle Warmer or in hot water. Always check the temperature of food before feeding. Never defrost food in a microwave oven. In this way you will deprive it of its valuable values and antibodies. In the case of dissection of ingredients after thawing food - mix it. Store freshly expressed milk at room temperature for up to 4 hours, in a refrigerator (+4°C) for up to 4 days, in a freezer (-20°C) for 3-6 months.
Store frozen food in a refrigerator (+4°C) for up to 24 hours.
